I know it's been awhile since you've heard from me. I had a few snags with the publishing of "Frankenstein," but it finally came together. That means it's time to celebrate!!!!
Here's the scoop!
I'm testing new covers for my current novel "The Girl Who Fell Into the Sky" before the next book in the series comes out. And -- cue music -- I'm offering up some excerpts from my current work in progress, a prequel to the book based on "Rapunzel" and "The Snow Queen." Bet you thought you'd never see those words!
To celebrate, this coming Sunday, March 20th, I'm offering my current book for free on Kindle plus I'm giving away five digital copies of "Frankenstein."
It's a great way to grab a copy of my current book if you haven't yet. It's also a great way to introduce friends to the book. Best of all, the party takes place right here on this page. You can come in your jammies!
People who've read my book liken it to "The Hunger Games" meets "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," with a strong fairy tale/ "Alice in Wonderland" element to boot.
Here's what Writers Digest had to say about it:
Author has a mastery of surprising us in the book. Introducing the non-woman character at the show seemed like just an observation of a quirky character and a fascinating trend of the era. We had no idea how important that would eventually become. Great plant by the author. It was a story-making twist later on. Settings are rich in detail, dialogue is realistic and engaging, confrontations are tense and paced well (it’s a common mistake to rush through them, but author keeps us in the thick of them. Wisely done.) It’s a big book, so the risk of a lull in the middle is a particular possibility … but in this book, there is no lull. It stays exciting and emotional all the way through. Good work.

Also on that day, I'll be holding a book giveaway through my science fiction writing group, The Collective SF. We're having a little party from 1:00 p.m. EST to 6:00 EST. I'll be giving away digital copies of "Frankenstein," the most recent book I published through my publishing company, Cinder Apple Press. It's a copy of the classic novel with some cool scholarly commentary provided by yours truly. I promise you that "Frankenstein" has a backstory you won't believe. Mary Shelley was pretty much a genius!
Here is the other freebie for my SciFi group event that day! (In addition to my book)
And be sure to log into Amazon on the 20th to get free copies of: "Snow White 2.0" by scribe Saffron Bryant. It's free all day on Kindle.
Also, you could win 1 of 5 digital copies of CHEATC0DE, the new scifi, cyberpunk techno-thriller from scribe Mikey Campling.
But you can start to play early. Here's how. Just sign up for my mailing list to be considered for one of the five digital copies of "Frankenstein" that I'm giving away on the 20th. (If you're already on my mailing list, you're automatically considered for the drawing for one of the five digital copies of "Frankenstein."
